The Appleton/Garza Ministry tree grew two new branches this past October. Miracle Be Born, an hour of music to build your faith, was the first of those branches. It is a sequal to house of prayer because miracles are an outgrowth of prayer. The new CD has seven bilingual songs, and eight monolingual songs.

Here's what people are saying about the new Miricle Be Born CD ...

“It hasn’t left my CD player since I put it in…”  Michelle Anderson ... college T.A.
“We love it!”  Chris Black, Pastor in Kansas City
“It puts me in the mood for miracles”   Aunt Lisa Appleton

The second branch was a new website named  markandcrista.com  featuring evangelism news updates, prayer requests, victory reports, as well as some personal garza family photos.  We thank god for the new growth on our tree, and are praying for even more miracles to be born!

Webster’s Dictionary
out-reach = n. the act of reaching out; the extent of reach; vi. to reach farther (than); adj. any program designed to extend services to those not usually accommodated by an organization

1.Family Outreach

One of the most touching services we have ever been in occurred this past December in Ft.Worth at Pastor Mercedes Cruz’ church.  There, on a Sunday morning,  we witnessed as God filled Pastor Cruz’s 72 year old mother with the baptism of the Holy Ghost!!  As the Spirit of the Lord spoke through his mother,  Hermana Eluteria, (pictured in the middle of Bro. and Sis. Cruz),  Pastor Cruz just knelt and cried tears of joy while Sis. Cruz danced and shouted exuberantly!!   His mother afterward testified that she felt as though something had awoken inside of her, and that her heavy heart had been replaced with strength to overcome the struggles of life!

2. Church Neighborhood Outreach

South St. Louis is no place to leave your car unlocked, but this does not keep the people at Prince of Peace United Pentecostal Church from reaching out to the young people in the church neighborhood.  On a Friday night of the Revival these three neighborhood young people came and were gloriously filled with the Holy Ghost.  Many of their friends were also watching and interested to see what was happening.

3. Bus Outreach

At Family Life Center in Troy, MO, there is such a desire to reach the young people of their community that they have developed a unique way of reaching out.  They dress up as popular cartoon characters and go into the trailor park areas and invite the youth to the “Jesus show”.  Sis. Roberta Crawford, who heads this up, says that the children now just see her coming and want to get in the bus and come to the show!   During the preservice prayer group we specifically asked God to allow us to see fruit from this labor in that Sunday night service, and here is a picture of the answer to that prayer.  God let us witness the birthing of the firstfruit of that ministry. During the singing God filled this young man with the Holy Ghost! Only time will tell how many more lives will be changed because of this unique outreach.

4. Multicultural Outreach

The Nix brothers, both former missionaries to South America, have come off the foreign field and have come together to form ICM  (Intercultural Christian Ministries)  in Independence, MO. Their goal is to form one church of many cultures.  The pastor, Bro. Kelly Nix, is trilingual speaking Portuguese, Spanish, and English.  Currently, all services are in English and Spanish.  There is a large multicultural community there to reach and the Spirit of God is with this precious family. We witnessed a special move of God’s Spirit when we were with them as God filled two hungry souls with His Spirit! The Nix family would welcome any volunteers that would like to help them reach out to their multicultural community.  Anyone interested can communicate with them at www.interculturalministries.org, and I might add that there will be a lot of love and laughter anytime your around these wonderful folks!!

5. Personal Outreach

This past December, in our home church in McKinney Texas,  another member of the Garza family received the Holy Ghost.  This little girl is the granddaughter of  Bro. Garza’s aunt. Isn’t it  amazing to see the effect of the Word of God as it continues to spread within a family!
