JEHOVAH RAFA STILL HEALS!!
In January Lance Appleton was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer that had spread to the bones. His P.S. A. count was at 85 (normal is about 3 or 4) so his doctor called him off of the evangelistic field to immediately begin treatment. Since it was already in the bones it was past being operable, so after one shot of hormone therapy he was scheduled to begin radiation treatments. God’s people began to pray and Bro. Appleton kept saying, “ I am healed until the doctor tells me otherwise.” He continued to wear a prayer cloth in his shoe that had been anointed by Sis. Nona Freeman. He was wearing it when he went to receive the first radiation treatment. That day was a day of MUCH REJOICING because when the doctor read his blood test results it showed that his p.s.a. level had gone from 85 to 7!!! The doctor said, “We can’t radiate that”(since it was so low), and the treatment was canceled! After a panel of 5 doctors reviewed his case, another blood test was given in which his p.s.a. level went from 7 to 0!! The doctors are concluding this is the best possible result they could have hoped for from one shot of hormone therapy, and we are rejoicing that our GOD IS STILL DOING MIRACLES!! “the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” James 5:16b
JEHOVAH JIREH STILL PROVIDES
In fall of 2005 our RV needed repairs totaling about $2500. We began to pray. God provided in two wonderful ways. First of all a VERY GENEROUS brother from our home church donated his mechanical expertise and labor in order to save us over $1000 of that cost . Then a ANOTHER GENEROUS FAMILY helped us with sending us a check for over $1000 to help to cover the parts that were needed. WE continue to be assured from the Lord that Phil 4:19 is true!! “But my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory.” GODS PEOPLE ARE TRULY THE SALT OF THE EARTH!
JESUS STILL SAVES
	One of the most touching stories of God’s salvation coming to a family happened in Lake Lavon, TX in January. The McVey family had been attending the church there for 6 months. There was a mother and a father and 3 teenage children. Bro. McVey had recently come back to the Lord after many years of being away. The Lord’s presence so filled the house during those meetings that his entire family was filled with the Holy Ghost. Such a beautiful sight to see them hugging and crying! But that is still not all. The next month they brought two boys to church with them. These boys had a mother that was hooked on drugs, and a father that was in prison. The Lord moved again and filled both of these precious boys with the Holy Ghost as well. I had sung a song about us being the light of the world that evening , and after praying the 11 year old boy looked up into my face and said, “I turned my light on tonight.” I knew it was true because the beaming light of God was all over his face!!
