In
Mexico, MO there is a church with a burden to reach the Spanish-
speaking population. Under the leadership of Bro. Baitenger, Bro. Shawn
Martinsic and his wife are heading up the outreach efforts, and the fruit
of their labor is showing! This past April we were with them, along with
Bro. Tom Zapata and Bro. Tony Tristan, for 3 services and the Lord filled
5 of their friends with the Holy Ghost. Truly the harvest is ripe and
the laborers are few, but we are excited about what God can do with those
who are available to HIM!! It is our hearts desire to see a seminary Set
up to train up bilingual ministers. Please help us pray that God will Open
this door. The Need is growing Everywhere.
Down in Southern Florida at Bro.
Andrew Urshans' church there are revival fires burning! This multicultural
church takes daily prayer meetings seriously, and regularly fasts together
as a body of believers.
Their
music is headed up by Bro. Robert Smith, our dear friend from Gateway!
How powerful was the anointing in those services as he leads in worship
from the piano. He and his wife are over the youth and youth choir and
are doing a tremendous job raising their twin 5 year old daughters as
well! Our daughter, Grace, immensely enjoyed their company!
"We
go from glory to glory" or, in our sons case from Bump to bump.
He has survived bumping into pews, altars, Doors, people, suitcases, our
display table, bathroom sinks, etc.. However, he still continues to take
it all on in 5th gear! We love to see him dance for Jesus!
Thank God for people with a burden for Christian
Education! Here Pictured on the right is Bro. Nathan Urshan and his wife
Jackilyn.
They pastor
a thriving multicultural church in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Since starting
the church Bro. Urshan has learned to speak the Creole Language since
there are many in his congregation who speak it. He has also taught himself
to play the piano to fit the style of the congregation. It is exciting
to see their zeal Bro. Urshan is also the principal of their New Christian
school.
Here is
Pastor Grey from Whitesboro, TX. This was an Especially emotional
baptism as This was the daughter of a woman That had attended the church
until She was killed in a car accident this Past April. Before passing
her Mother had prayed and testified to Her daughter. Even though she was
Not there to witness the answer to her prayer we rejoiced exceedingly
to see God's faithfulness to save her family! Pastor Grey is also especially
emotional as his wife was also killed in the car wreck. God always brings
something good out of difficult situations! Romans 8:28
Bro. and Sis. Bosh and Nicolas are good friends
of ours from Texas.
We
experienced an especially powerful move of the spirit at their church
in Hope, Arkansas. Bro. Bosh repeatedly tried to dismiss, but the Spirit
of The Lord kept moving and before it was over there was a sweet Holy
Ghost Glow on all faces. We rejoiceto see their passion to work for the
Lord IN ACTION!!
We welcome
our new nephew, Ian Lance Appleton, Who arrived on June 15, 2006.
We are so excited That Uncle Eric and Aunt Lydia are now experiencing
the Joys of parenting for themselves!
